SPECIAL OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT DOUG DURANT

D & D & COMPANY

Dear Member of Arizona Acting Community,

Hello, my name is Donna DeCarl; I’m a friend and colleague of Laura Durant.

Laura’s husband, Doug, has been quietly battling leukemia for the past three years. After his most recent round of chemotherapy, he developed a serious infection and was hospitalized. In spite of insurance, medical expenses continue to mount.

Durant Communications.com, makes a tremendous contribution to actors, producers, theatres, and teachers, by providing audition information, class information, and theatre, “Starving Actor”, discounts, etc. to name of few of their services. Most information is free of charge.

We are having a benefit for Doug and Laura Durant, on Saturday, May 10th, 2008. There will be a show, “1950’s MALT SHOP REVISITED”, with Silent Auctions. Valley Youth Theater, and Bobb Cooper, is generously providing the theater, and the show, produced and directed by Donna DeCarl, of D&D&Company, stars 19 local actors; and recently was at The Herberger Lunchtime Theater, for 3 sold out weeks.

We are asking that you donate items for the Silent Auction. Any services, classes, dinners, gift baskets, gift certificates and dollar donations would also be appreciated. If you would like to attend the benefit, see the show, participate in bidding, or, donate items for Silent Auction, information regarding contact numbers is provided below.
